Moto Riding...

This is our "Gang"...what an AWESOME group of kids! No Joke- they are all great kids. From left to right- Noah, Mac, Avery, Paris, Lilly, Keaton (in truck), Molly & Kaymen. They all rocked it on their bikes yesterday!!

Yep...that's Mac- catchin' some air!

Lilly did awesome on her little bike, she has her balance down perfectly and is DYING to get on a big bike...she has NO FEAR! She will have to wait just a bit longer before she can get on a big one.

Griff hung out and enjoyed all the commotion. The bikes didn't seem to bother him...guess he'll be riding all to soon...

The weather was just GORGEOUS and WARM...it felt soooo good. We will be riding again on Saturday, can't wait. I love riding too, just don't have any pictures of me...yet!

Zac Brown Band

This was the BEST concert I have ever been too! We got there early to wait in line because we wanted to be in the front row...and it PAYED off big time. We won passes to eat dinner with them before the concert!!! I was SOO EXCITED...I was jumping up and down and SCREAMING when I heard our names called. The band had the meal cooked and served us the food, then mingled with all the winners. The best part- Zac himself sat right next to Destiny, straight across from me!!! We talked about cooking, family and friends. The food that was prepared for the event, are his recipes. He just published his first cookbook! We weren't allowed to take pictures or ask for autographs during the dinner, but we did get an autographed photo from him at the end of the dinner.

This is his bodyguard- met him at the dinner...one of the biggest dudes I have ever seen...he can RAP too. Came out on the stage for the last song...

There were a lot of other singers there too- Levi Lowery, Nic Cowen, Sonia Leigh and Joey & Rorey...if you haven't heard of them- you will very soon!

Joey & Rorey (the couple above) were definitely one of my faves! The concert was 4 hours long and we stood the whole time, but it was well worth it. We were very close to the stage and it was an AWESOME show. Kristi- I DID GET U AN AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO...hope this makes up for me rubbing elbows with your man! LOL...

Happy St. Patty's Day All!

Hope you all had a great St. Patty's Day. The kids wore green and had fun teasing about pinching everyone and anyone that didn't have any green on. We had chicken fried steak with green gravy for dinner...looks kind of funky, but it tasted good!

Basketball 2010

This picture just blows me away...shows just how "grown up" Mac is becoming. Breaks my heart...
Anyhow, he had a great season. He played well and learned a lot about the game. Thanks to his coaches- they ROCK!

A day at the park

The weekend wasn't all that sunny, but it was warm enough and dry enough to go to the park! Griff passed out in the carrier. He is getting heavy for me to carry around. I had some aching shoulders by the time we got back to the house-

New Toys

Oh Boy- the kids got some new "toys" this past weekend...

Double Wham-O

So, just got back from Pediatrician visit. Griff has an ear infection and she says he is DEFINITELY teething...OUCH. Poor kid- explains the fussiness, irritability and NO SLEEPING lately. Hopefully he will feel better soon...it's early for teething- but Mac had his first tooth come in at about 4 months, so Griff is following closely. Oh- he weighs 15lbs. 9oz...chunky monkey.

Loungin'

I pulled out the Bumbo seat this morning and Griff enjoyed sitting up and taking it all in. See the drool? This boy soaks everything!

He has a doc's appt this afternoon- I think he may have an ear infection...let's hope not. He has had a low grade temp for about a week and has become very fussy and extremely restless the last 3-4 days. Pat and I have had very minimal sleep!! I am barely functional at this point. Guess we'll see what's up in a bit. Lilly says he's "grumpy"...LOL.

SNOW?

We woke up to snow yesterday morning! The kids loved it. We haven't had much this year. I was a bit surprised. Spring break is less than 2 weeks away...I would really like lots of sunshine for it...guess that's the Texan in me!
It was gone by the afternoon and my kids were disappointed-
