Sandy Red's first lost & Lilly's last game...

The boys played Centennial on Saturday. With both teams being UN-defeated... it made for one exciting and tough game! Our boys made them fight for everything!! They played their hearts out and then some. In the end Centennial won by one touch down. We will see them again in the play-off/championship game.

Mac's name made into last week's newspaper for some great catches he made-
Keep up the great work Sandy Red...we are very proud of you!

On Sunday Lilly played her last game of Flag football for the season. She enjoyed every minute of it. we had a little celebration at DQ after the game and they all were given trophies. To say that each of them were excited...would be an under-statement!

Way to Go Lilly!
You ROCK little gal!

Happy 1st Birthday Clyde!

We celebrated sweet Clyde's 1st Birthday on Saturday.
He is such a cutie pie!

I was honored when Momma B and Christine asked me to make his cake!

Halloween Bash 2012

Our Halloween Bash was full of laughter, smiles and screams!!
Thanks to all that came and made it a great time.

 My "Superman"

Griff decided to just chill out...literally in a full cooler!
Being Bat Boy is hard work...

We played lots of games with the kids...but this one was my favorite. It's called Wear That...you gather as much goofy, tacky and fun clothing and accessories as you can, place them in a big black trash bag. The kids roll a dice and if it lands on a 1 or 6, they have to grab an item out of the bag and whatever they pull out. they have to wear!! The boys were pulling out all my old dresses from school dances, funny wigs, tacky outfits, etc....
Mac had to wear one of my old dresses that I wore to an 8th grade dance!!!
SO FUNNY!

Hmmmmmm........

Some days around here are just too funny...
A few weeks ago, my phone rang and it was a girl calling for Mac. I was a little shocked at first...I recognized the girls voice right away and when I said her name, she was a bit surprised, maybe even a little embarrassed. Anyhow, I told her that he was busy (we had friends over) and that I would have him call her back in a bit. After I hung up, I was joking with Pat and our friends that Mac had just gotten his first phone call from a girl. We were all laughing and talking about how it won't be long before our boys are actually "into" girls. I didn't tell Mac that she had called and no more than 10 minutes passed when she called my phone again! This time, we thought, what the heck, give him the phone and see what his reaction and his buddy's reaction will be. (we are such grown-ups)
It was pretty funny. Mac was SUPER embarrassed and confused about why this girl was calling him and Kaymen had his ear as close to the phone as possible, snickering the whole time. Even Lilly and Molly were laughing that there was a "girl" on the phone for Mac. They were all crowded around him like paparazzi!!
It turned out that it was a group of girls and they were calling most of the boys in their class. They were all just giggling and not really saying much...but, it's a sign of what lies ahead.
Oy....I will need a lot of grace when Mac is at the point of girls and dating!

Another funny moment in the Potter house-
I walked by Lilly's room last night and noticed this sign on her door...
No explanation needed on this one....
Whatever happened to" No Boys Allowed!"
Ha-Ha!
