CIRCUS-CIRCUS!

Today we went to the Shriner Circus with The Robinson Family! What a show...

The kids loved their face paintings and the elephants were a big hit too!

Yes, there was an actual person inside this tiny, tiny car!!
This was the ride home- I'd say it was a good adventure...

Dad's fishing trip

Dad and Jimmy went fishing just before Easter and did very well! Dad loves the fishing trips when he comes up for a visit...thanks to Jimmy for always having one lined up while he is here!

For those of you back in Texas- Jimmy smoked all of Dad's salmon...YUMMY! So, hit him up for some when you see him. It's great stuff!

Lilly's 5!

Lilly had an AWESOME birthday! It was a very big party and the girl made a haul on gifts...it was a bit much, but that's what birthdays are for I guess. We got her the car above and she has been "cruising" every chance she gets!

She was SO EXCITED that all her friends came! She is a social gal for sure-

Griff had a blast too- he loved the water!

Lilly surprised Pat and I with sticking to her thoughts of having a Wiggles party. We were sure that she'd change her mind at the last minute to princesses or mermaids...but she showed us! Finding Wiggle items was not an easy task!! I had to buy most of it off Ebay. The cake was kind of a disaster- but she liked it, so that's all that matters.
Thanks to all of you that came and celebrated with us!

Griff at 4 months...

Yep, my baby boy is getting bigger....
he weighs 16.5 lbs and is 26 1/2" long. He is doing all the things a 4 month old is suppose to be doing and then some...he is movin' and groovin' a bit ahead of schedule. His pediatrician recommended that I start feeding him some rice cereal and some green veggies in the next weeks ahead. I had planned to wait a bit, but he is very active and seems somewhat ready. He just makes a big mess and unintentionally spits most of it out. His tongue isn't sure what it's suppose to do yet. It will take some practice-

Dad enjoyed watching Griff's attempts at eating some solids...it was pretty funny. Mac's friend, Kaymen, in the background thought it was kind of gross...

Easter Day and Catie Lynn's Birthday

Easter was a busy day! But very fun!! We ate, hunted eggs, had cake for Catie Lynn's second birthday and watched her open presents.
Catie Lynn holds a special presence for all of us. We all know how close we could have come to losing her...thanks to ALL OF YOU THAT PRAYED FOR HER!
L@@K how cute and healthy she is!

We had to hide/hunt eggs in the house, but the kids didn't seem to mind a bit...

This was EARLY Easter morning...the kids were up at 6:00, just jumping to find their baskets that Grandpa bought...

Both kids had eaten plenty of candy by 7:00 a.m.-
YIKES...
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter full of hugs, love, laughter & bright colored eggs!!

Easter Bunny Visit...

Well, we survived our first Easter Bunny picture with all 3 kids. Standing in line for about 35 minutes was no easy task! Mac was embarrassed (guess I don't blame him), but he was a good sport about it. Lilly was just beside herself the entire time- jumping, bouncing, whining, complaining, etc...but she was just VERY EXCITED to meet the Bunny. Griff slept through most of it and WAS NOT going to look at the camera...we tried about 20 times and gave up. Better luck next year! I was very relieved that Dad was on a fishing trip instead of at the mall, waiting in line to see the bunny...LOL-

I think she loves him...

...yes, I am sure.
Lilly loves her baby brother.
They are so cute together and she just keeps herself very busy with him...

The kids were very excited about Easter this year. I am not sure why they had so much anticipation built up about it, but they did. Maybe because Grandpa Tex is here?? I am not sure- but I enjoyed it.

We sent them off to bed after they finished coloring eggs and Dad filled all the candy eggs for me. I had my hands full with cooking and cleaning to get ready for Sunday!
