Trek World USA!
Pat just got home from from his big trip to the Trek World USA Show. His new bike formula that he has been working on for the past two years was introduced at the show! Big excitement for him, for us and for Fuller Brothers. Trek and Bontrager have been testing Pat's formula in their tubeless racing tires. It has been very successful so far and will be in bicycle shops all over the world in just a few short weeks! WOW!
Even Mr. Lance Armstrong has had it in his tires!
Trek has named the formula Bontrager TLR Tire Sealant, which stands for Tube-less Ready.
We have been calling Pat's Brew for the past year or so, but they gave it it's official name.
This formula is formulated for a tubeless mountain and or road bicycle wheel system. High end mountain and road bikes are all going to be manufactured with tubeless wheel/tire systems. It works as a puncture sealant and a casing sealant so that tubes are no longer needed/used. All the top pro-mountain bikers are using tubeless tires and they are making their way into road racing. In the future, most, if not all, bikes will be made with tubeless tires. Pat's formula is a big breakthrough for this system. I am so proud of him for having a dream, a passion, a vision and the courage to chase it. It has been a long road, but his formula is out there and the right people are running with it. It's amazing. We are full of excitement and anticipation for where this project may lead us!
Here are a few of the bikes that Pat was drooling over...some of them cost as much as $11,000 if you can believe that!
