Long Beach, WA
We went to Long Beach on Saturday for the day. I wasn't sure the drive was going to be worth it, but I couldn't have been more pleased with the day. It was 95 degrees!!! It is very rare that it's that warm on the Oregon/Washington Coast. It was awesome.
We didn't have Mac with us- he went fishing with some good friends for the weekend.
We took Waylon, Lilly and Griff.
We all had a great day...even OL' Henry.
Shadows on the beach are the best kinds! (above)
I love this picture of Griff. It's not too often that he is "still" enough for me to get a decent shot of him.
I played with the color and made it a black & white.
Luv It!
While playing in the water and sand, we also enjoyed all the kites billowing up in the blue sky and I liked a few of the colorful umbrellas that were up...
We also saw a couple walking down to the beach to get married!
After a full day of sand castles, water, waves, breezes, kites, sun and beach strolls...it was time to go check out the boardwalk for awhile. There was lots to see and do. We were a bit tired, so we didn't spend longer than an hour looking around. We made sure to get some ice cream and I had to have an elephant ear...it's one of my faves!
We also made sure to get a few silly photos (0:
It was then time to load up and head back for the mountains.
It has been just gorgeous weather everywhere around here the last few days. We spend every second possible outside, lovin' the sun!
Hope you all had a nice weekend too.
