Clackamas County Fair

We go to the Clackamas County fair every year and always have a great time. It's nice to see some of our Canby friends there!

Momma B and I took the kids and had a fun filled day. Pat was in Wisconsin for Trek World, so we had to go without him this time.

Lilly invited Kaylee to come with us and the two of them had a blast. Mac saw several friends there and enjoyed catching up with them.

 The rides are always popular!

 Face painting is always popular too...Lilly got a turtle...

 and Kaylee got a bunny.

 This was our favorite part of the fair this year...we got to feed butterflies!

It was AWESOME!

 This one LOVED Mac. It landed on him as soon as we walked into the feeding area and it wouldn't let go of him. We had to pull it off before we left.

 Momma B's butterfly was very happy to sit on her feeding stick and enjoy the nectar.

 This was my butterfly...it had gotten stepped on, so it's wings were a little bent. It seemed to recover quickly and was put back in the flowers after I gave it a snack.

 Two peas in a pod...

 They even met an Indian!

 They danced and enjoyed Disney Radio Live...

 We ended the day at Momma B and Jimbo's place.

Yes, it was a great day at the fair. All the rides, the games, the booths, the animals and livestock...oh and yes- THE FOOD!

We ate ourselves sick with corn dogs, elephant ears, snow cones, etc.

It was all well worth it and yummy too...

you gotta splurge sometimes!
