Langston Family Report

Hi everyone,
Catie Lynn continues to tolerate her chemo very well. This week, she didn't
have any chemo planned. She was only scheduled to go in to have a blood test to
make sure that she's doing fine. Well...she's been doing so well and her blood
tests have been so good, that the doctors canceled her appointment for her blood
test. Jimmy wasn't completely sure (he was in the car when I talked to him) but
he said that Catie Lynn may have about 3 or 4 more chemo infusions - to take
place in the next 6 to 7 weeks. I think that maybe they can see the light at
the end of the tunnel.
Tarver had surgery for his hernia on Wednesday. Things went very well and he's
doing fine. Tarver's greatest disappointment is that he can't go into a
swimming pool for a week. Tarver's greatest joy is that he can't have a bath
until Friday.
Glenda (Jimmy's mom) modified her return ticket to extend her stay; she will
head home to Mississippi next week on Tuesday, August 4.
Jimmy is doing fine; working at this point. He says that he sometimes sleeps on
the couch (sometimes with Tarver) and gets reasonable sleep.
Sherry is doing fine but has the normal sleep deprivation of a mother of a
newborn. Brewer was one month yesterday!

That's it for this week.
