New Year's 2009
We rang in the New Year in LaPine. It was a "Full House". We were all there except for Tim, Heidi & the girls. There was never a dull or much quiet moment... a lot of fun was had by all!Jimmy, Kelly, Pat and I went on a "midnight ride" up Paulina Peak. It was so beautiful up there. The moon was bright and the stars were twinkling!
The kids had a grand time playing and at times bickering...but isn't that what cousins are suppose to do? Lilly seems to think that she is the "boss" most of the time. She was "helping" Tarver go Potty...
Although my Dad was with us and had a great time, I have NO PICTURES OF HIM! He does not like the camera....seems to always disappear when we get it out for pictures! He was very helpful with the sleds. They needed some mechanical work and he just tuned them right up! Everyone is now trying to convince him of moving up here for part of the year to work on projects we all have!

Very fun! Love the idea of being in the snow for a midnight, moonlight adventure! What a GREAT way to ring in the new year....Great place, too!!!!
You are so lucky to have such a close knit family that like doing so much together!
Fun fun fun!, I went to bed early, not much to do out in the boonies where my parents live. I tried to get adults to play cards or board games until midnight, but the old fogies went to bed early.
The Nixon comment is from me, I was logged onto my sister's account trying to help her with her page, forgot to log off as her.
I agree; that sounds like a great way to ring in the new year. I'm glad your dad got to stay with you guys for so long. Sounds like you had a great time together.
