~ 4th of July weekend ~

We started our weekend out with a fun tie-dying project at Destiny's place on Friday. The kids had a great time making their shirts and most of the adults were somewhat covered in dye, but it was worth it! Luckily, we started early in the day because Friday was a very HOT DAY!

Saturday afternoon we went to some friend's place and enjoyed a great 4th of July evening. They have a beautiful view and we could see fireworks from Colton, Estacada, and Sandy. We ate until we all felt sick...

The kids were in the pool all day! Then when the evening breeze hit, they hit the hot tub!

They were beyond anxious to start their own fireworks show...

Mac and Noah were excited about being "allowed" to light off their own fireworks....

At dusk, it was time to gather around the fire-pit and start some smore-making.... I think Pat and Dan were just as anxious as the kids for the smores!

Lilly was the first to point out the moon that night....it was really cool and even cooler that Larry got out his telescope! Lilly was mesmerized....

The moon had a jet stream from a jet running along the side of it.... was really neat.

On Sunday, we went to see Baby Brewer and family. He is one of the cutest 'lil babies I have ever seen! He actually looks like Pat and Mac a bit....maybe that's why he is so CUTE!!! Ha-

Catie Lynn was in good spirits and enjoyed watching Tarver & Lilly play in the pool.

We had a good weekend. We missed being with our family and friends in Texas, but we also enjoyed doing something new and different for the holiday. Thank You Whitlock Family for a great 4th of July evening!
