Lil' Miss Candy Corn Princess...

This is Lilly's Halloween dress she wore to Grandma Kathy's b-day party. She has been potty training & her treats have been candy corn. When we got this dress she screamed with excitement and shouted "Momma, potty treat!" and pointed to the candy corn on the dress! It was pretty funny! Anyhow, we went bowling for Kathy's b-day & she informed us all that she was a Candy Corn Princess! Bowling was a lot of fun & I must say Grandma Kathy is a pretty good darn bowler! However, Kelly kicked all our bums that night. Grandma Kathy assures us that she will not be defeated next time! Oh, by the way, doesn't Grandma look FABULOUS for being 29??
Aren't we all 29?

Nice font. I copied and pasted into Word and changed the font so's I could read it. Sometimes I amaze myself with my geniusness.

Clara loves candy corn and would flip over getting a potty treat dress. I was going to make Clara a felt candy corn hairclip, but didn't have any orange felt. Have you seen those clips? They are soooo cute and easy to make. They do take a little time, but I just do one while sitting on the couch watching tv. I'll have to post a pic of one I did for Clara Saturday night to wear with her new dress Sunday morning.

I've meant to ask you, do you use a pattern to make pillowcase dresses or just eyeball it? I tend to do a pretty terrible job of cutting evenly without a pattern.

I'll stop rambling now.

Hey Kelsey,
I have a make shift pattern that I made from the first pillow case dress that I got off ebay. If you'd like it, just let me know.
Also, why can't you read my font? It shows up fine on my screen. What did I do now? I really do not get a long with computers!!

Loved the Candy Corn Princess's dress, she is growing so fast.

Do you make tiny pillow case dresses? And the felt hairclips that Kelsey makes are very cute, she made a couple for my sister's baby.

You mean you didn't change it? It's right now on my computer, but yesterday it was showing up as the font that's all symbols. (I think it's called wingding.)

Weird.

Hey Tanya & Kelsey!
I think the smallest pillow case dress I have made fits about a 6 month old. I will look through the patterns I have & see what I find. Send me Grayson's length and I will make her one for Christmas. Kelsey, send me Clara's length and size clothing she wears & I will make her one too! I am getting ready to start on Lilly's , so I can do them all together. Oh, and yes, I did change the font. I have no idea how that happened...but your so smart, I couldn't trick you if I tried!
