Weekend times-
Lilly finally has enough hair for pig-tails! Her hair is actually longer than it appears...it's just so curly it looks short when it's down. She asked me on saturday if she could have piggies in her hair like Pinkalicious. Pinkalicious is one of her favorite books-
Anyhow, this was the outcome- she was pleased and wants to wear her hair like this every day!

On Saturday evening we went to The Shriner' s Crab Feed Dinner/Fundraiser with a group of our friends. Had a good time. I was still (and still am) fighting my head cold stuff, but really wanted to get out and do something! Carmen's grandpa is a Shriner, so we try to go the fundraiser dinner every year. We enjoyed having an evening without the kiddo's.

are you growing your hair too?
Glad that you had some time with your Canby friends.
but sorry to hear that you were still under the weather.
you know,,,,sometimes.,,,it just hurts,
What hurts?
that I can't watch the kids and stuff anymore.
i know. it's the distance. but ....it still leaves an
emptiness. my problem of inadaquecy to deal with.
Hey Momma B,
Don't sound so down! We did not think of having you watch the kiddos this weekend cuz I thought you were still at the beach helping Chris get settled in her new place. I know our move was hard for you and that you miss the kids (and us) a lot. We miss you too and the next time we have an evening planned and need a sitter, we will give you a call, PROMISE!
I have to say I am excited, Beverly is going to come and watch the boys so we can have an evening out. We are going to a sweetheart banquet. I am not bragging or anything like that, I am just soooooo excited. I really need to post soon.
